FALL CLASSES & CAMPS 2018
FALL SESSION WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 4TH AND RUN FOR 12-14 WEEKS.
Toddler Art Explorations meet weekly: MONDAY 10:30-11:30, TUESDAY 10:45-11:45, WED 4:15-5:15, FRIDAY 9:15-10:15. (Ages 18 months-2.9 yrs.) Each child will attend with their caregiver, the exception to this policy would be if your classroom Teacher feels that your child is ready for "drop-off." Young Artist's that are not ready for drop-off really need the comfort and support of their nurturing caregivers that they have an attachment to. This allows them to go deep into their process. Artist's will explore, clay, sensory bins, mixing and pouring, painting, drawing, light explorations and seasonal plants. Artist's will exposed to a wide range of "senses & descriptive words" as they explore the studio. Touch: Slimy, cold, warm, cool, soft, smooth, squishy, bumpy, rough hard. Smell: pungent, sweet, strong, musty, fresh, earthy, moldy. Sound: crunchy, crackly, crashing, thumping, tinkling, whispering, soft, loud. Sight: shiny, rainbows, shimmering, sparkly, glowing, darkness, vibrant, oozing. Toddler's are beginning to have an understanding of how they fit into the world. They are in the early stages of watching and feeling how they connect with peers and how others perseve them.
